Chris Jenks - For real?

He may have worn the Number 13 for 2004, but that doesn't’t mean it was unlucky for him. Chris Jenks, rider for Hillbilly Racing from Washington, West Virginia, has ridden his Yamaha in the Pro Am Class this year. Jenks has battled classmates, Jeremy Rice and Jathan Seale all season. After riding the year against them, Jenks teamed up with Rice and Seale for the Maxxis 6 Hours of PA team race, and again for the Maxxis 12 Hours of ATV America race, promoted by ATV Scene.com.
ATV Scene: Okay Chris, what are
you plans for 2005?
Jenks: I plan to
join Mickey Dunlap’s Four Stroke Tech team, which will consist of Bryan
Cook, Mike Houston and myself. I'll run the Pro Class in the GNCC series and
see where the year takes me.
ATV Scene: What track are you
looking forward to the most in 2005?
Jenks: I would
have to say Loretta Lynn’s. I like the combination of hills, rocks and
creeks. All together, I just like that track. I should do well there.

Scene: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Jenks:
Rather than being here in 13th, I would like to be somewhere around the
number one spot.

Scene: Where do you see yourself in 25 years?
Jenks: Retired in a rocking chair,
(laughing).
ATV Scene: What other kinds of
racing do you take part in besides GNCC?
Jenks: 6 and 12
Hours of ATV America team races and District 11 local races.
ATV Scene: How do you get to
the races?
Jenks: I travel
with my dad, my mom and my girlfriend, Rachel. We are a pretty good team. We
all enjoy it a lot.

The same crew that travels with us, with the addition of Chad and Eric.

I really don’t have too many habits. Right now it is fall toning.

I am starting to like motocross more and more, so I will say both.
