Fantasy Moto announces DoubleCross weekend at the famous Crandon International Off-road Raceway.
Crandon International Raceway partnered with Fantasy Moto in 2004 to bring motocross racing back to the famed facility after a 15-year hiatus. Since 2004, the partnership has produced additional off-road events including the “FCP Ultimate ATV ExperienceTM” which has already become a “must attend” event for all recreational and competitive ATV enthusiasts.
New to 2008 is yet another chapter of off-road motorsports between Fantasy Moto and Crandon International with the addition of an AMA Hare Scrambles scheduled for May 31, 2008. The hare scrambles is scheduled back-to-back with a Fantasy Moto promoted Forest County Potawatomi Northern Cup Motocross Series event making for a true DoubleCross weekend including both two and four-wheel entertainment.
There is so much more to the Crandon facility than meets the eye – what most people see once inside the gate is the prestigious off-road course that is synonymous with the Crandon name. What isn’t visible is the other 200 acres of scenic ATV trails and bark- busting woods riding that will soon host the AMA Hare Scrambles event.
This is the ultimate crossover weekend for off-road racers to spread their wings a bit and test their skills at another discipline of racing. There will be classes for all skill levels and machine sizes for motorcycles and ATVs for both events. We’ve already spoken to a number of motocross racers that plan to make Crandon home of their traveling burb for the weekend of May 31st – June 1st. We encourage the MXer’s to come a day early and the hare scramble racers to stay a day late. This is going to be a dirt-filled, roost-throwing, high-flying, knuckle-busting DoubleCross weekend you can’t afford to miss!
